Eyebrow & Neck Cleanups
A line-up is the small service that keeps a good cut looking new. In fifteen minutes a barber restores the hairline, the neck, and the edges with a straight razor — no full cut, just the crisp perimeter that blurs first as hair grows. It is the honest way to stretch a cut a week or two further without letting it look untended, and for regulars on a Standing Chair it is half price. Book it between full appointments and week three looks a great deal like week one.
What you get in the chair
- A straight-razor reset of the hairline, temples, and neck
- Edges around the ears and any part re-defined and cleaned up
- A quick beard-edge tidy included if you wear one
- No full cut — a focused fifteen minutes on the perimeter that blurs first
- Half price for regulars on a Standing Chair with their barber
- The simplest way to hold a cut’s shape a week or two longer
How it goes
- Read the grow-out. The barber checks how the hairline and neck have softened since your last cut and where a razor will do the most to reset it.
- Razor the line. Hairline, temples, and neck are re-cut with a straight razor for the same crisp edge you left the chair with last time.
- Edge & finish. Around the ears and any part is cleaned up, a beard edge tidied if you wear one, and the neck finished with a warm towel.
Asked about this service
Answers pulled straight from the front desk.
Do I need an appointment?
No — Camp Ave Barbershop is walk-ins only. Come by whenever suits you; the shop is open early, seven days a week.
Do you cut kids’ hair?
Yes — kids’ cuts (12 & under) are $20, and Ruben is famously patient with children. Parents say haircuts went from tears to the highlight of the week.
Where exactly are you?
On Camp Ave in Merrick, NY — the red-brick corner building with the red “Barber Shop” awning, two barber poles by the window, and a bench out front.
Just walk in.
Grab the bench out front if there’s a short wait — you’ll be in a chair before the coffee cools.
